Have you heard about Jaaxy or wondered what it was? Here in the Jaaxy Keyword Tool review I will be going over its main features and my personal experience with it! If you are someone who blogs and needs tons of low competition keywords, then this is something you will want to check out!
Founders: Kyle and Carson
Date Founded: 2010
Purpose: Find keywords for your website crazy fast and keep them organized!
Who is Jaaxy For??
Jaaxy is for those who are looking for low competition keywords and lots of them! If you are trying to get organic traffic to your website through content then this may be for you. However, if you are just writing a personal blog as a hobby, then this is something you probably won’t need!
Features of Jaaxy
Jaaxy has quite a few resources for you to use in finding keywords for your website! With Jaaxy you have access to:
- Basic Searches
- Alphabet Soup Searches
- Save Keyword Lists (freaking awesome!)
- Search For Affiliate Programs
- Search Analysis
- Brain Storm
- Jaaxy Affiliate Program
Lets start with the top one and work our way down.
This is the feature I use the most on Jaaxy, basically you can go in and type in any word or phrase and it will show you a few different stats. It will show you:
AVG: The average amount of searches that keyword receives each month
Traffic: The average amount of traffic you will receive if you rank on the first page of Google for that keyword
QSR: QSR stands for “Quoted Search Results.” It shows you the number of competing websites ranked in Google for that exact keyword.
KQI: This stands for the quality keyword indicator! It lets know the quality of a certain keyword. Green is great, yellow is okay and red means poor!
SEO: This is a score based on traffic and competition, the higher the number, the more chance you have at ranking on the first page of Google!
Domains: This is a cool feature, it lets you know if any .com/.net./.org domains are available for that keyword!
Lets look at an example here now!! They keyword I am going to search will be “cheap leather chairs.”
One really cool thing about Jaaxy is that when you do a search for a keyword it will automatically bring up results for similar keywords. When I typed in “cheap leather chairs,” “cheap leather office chairs” also popped up along with all the ones below!
Just by typing in one keyword I already got a list of five that I could use! Remember, when choosing a keyword in Jaaxy you want to make sure that it receives at least 24 monthly searches (in my opinion) has a QSR (competition) lower than 100 and that the KQI is green!
Now if you run into a keyword you want to use that is yellow, it is not the end of the world. I myself have used some keywords that had a yellow KQI.
The search feature in Jaaxy has different levels of access depending on the type of Jaaxy account you have, I will be going over this later though!
Alphabet Soup Searches
If you are unfamiliar with the term Alphabet Soup read my How to Find Keywords article to get familiar with it! Here is a quick example of how it works.
Say my niche website is about protein. To get traffic to my website I am going to need to write articles on target keywords such as “Is Protein Good For You?” or “What Does Protein Do For The Body?” Coming up with these articles can be a little tricky though.
When we use the alphabet soup technique correctly we can find hundreds of keywords for our niche!!! So how does the Alphabet Soup technique work?? It’s very simple, all you do is choose a basic keyword such as “protein” and type it into Google.
Then after you have “protein” in the search bar you hit space bar and add an “a.” Google will then show us the most popular searches that start with “protein a…” We then can type these keywords into Jaaxy to see if its a good keyword to use!
Here is what that looks like.
Based off of this search I would see if “protein and weight loss” is a good keyword to use by searching it in Jaaxy.
My next search would then be “protein b…” and I would slowly make my way through the entire alphabet looking for keywords.
With Jaaxy, you don’t have to do this manually! You just type in the keyword and it will automatically find keywords in that alphabet soup style! Here is what it looks like, all I typed in was “is protein” and these are the results that came up for a and b!
Just by doing that you can now see I have tons of different articles I could write about! How cool is that???
Save Keyword Searches
This is one of my favorite features because I can categorize all the keywords I have found and wanted to write about and then save them! Once I am done writing an article I just go to my keywords list and find a new one to write about!
The keyword list is also great because it shows you the average traffic you can get if you rank on the first page of Google for all those keywords!! Here is an example of one of my keywords lists!
In the top yellow bar you can see the number 111, that shows how many keywords are on my list, and the number 10326 shows how much traffic I can get if I write all these articles and rank on the first page of Google for all of them!
Search For Affiliate Program
This feature is pretty neat as it allows you to quickly find affiliate programs related to your niche. Say your niche is diamonds, all you have to do it type in diamonds and related affiliate programs will pop up! Here is an example.
Just like that you have a list of affiliate programs you can check out. Sometimes an affiliate program will not pop up or there won’t be any, just change the “Network” in the top right next to the search bar and you should be able to find one. The different networks Jaaxy pulls from are Commission Junction, Clickbank, Link Share and Digital River!
This is a feature I am not to familiar with, in fact I just checked it out for the first time while writing this review! In the Search Analysis all you do is type in a keyword and it pulls the first page results on Google and shows you the stats for that website! This is what it looks like:
I could only get s snapshot of the first two results, but it shows you the eleven! So for the keyword “is protein good for you?” WebMD has the first spot in Google! You can then click on “view details” for the website and it will show you:
- Word Count for the Article
- How Many External and Internal Links are on the Page
- How Many other Sites are Linking to the Page
- Rank for Alexa
- If there is any ad sense or not
I guess I see this feature as a good way to scope out the competition and what you can do to improve your articles to compete with them!
This is another feature I haven’t really used yet and honestly I am still trying to figure it out. Once I do I’ll come back and update this part of the review!
Jaaxy Affiliate Program!

Those are all the main features that you get when signing up for Jaaxy! Now what is the cost??
If you go directly to Jaaxy to sign up you can either start off with a Starter Membership or you can buy a Pro Membership or Enterprise Membership. Here is a quick view on what the different membership plans offer and their prices!
The Secret Membership
So after reading this you might have the desire to try Jaaxy out for free to see how it works! Then if you really liked it you might start spending $49 a month to use it! What if I told you there was another way to get unlimited searches on the Jaaxy Starter membership plus a bunch of training on affiliate marketing??
The founders of Jaaxy are also the founders of Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy Affiliate University is set up to teach others how to build website step by step! Wealthy Affiliate is similar in that it also lets you have a free trial and then you can pay for a premium membership.
If you buy the premium membership at Wealthy Affiliate you get a “Lite” version of Jaaxy that lets you have unlimited searches! Currently, this is the version I am using and it basically the Starter Membership for Jaaxy but with unlimited searches!
As someone who is just starting out in blogging, this is all I need. Once my website grows and starts to make money I then will upgrade to the Pro and Enterprise versions.
In conclusion I think Jaaxy is a great tool to have if you are serious about growing your online business! Time is such an important commodity, and I am a believer in saving as much time as possible!
Imagine what you could do if you could save 10+ hours each month researching keywords??? I would recommend trying out the free version first, then if it works for you, upgrade to the pro version or join Wealthy Affiliate and get the Lite version of it!
If you have any questions or ways I can improve this article please let me know in the comments below and I will do my best! I am still new to this blogging thing, so I am not even close to being perfect yet!
