Covers pretty much every think I need to know as a beginner to be able to set up my WordPress website.

How long would it take me do you think to master the controls of a WordPress website dashboard through your training?

For a beginner and intermediate this is a great post

    • Chris

      Haha thanks Stew!

It was my goal to make the most comprehensive guide out there! Check back for more content as I plan to update it a couple times a month!

      All the Best,

You must have put a ton of time putting this article together. Thank you very much for the awesome post. I am sure many will also thank you for that. Keep up with the good work.

    • Chris

      Hi Hong!

I am glad you found this tutorial helpful! You are right with it taking time! I think I spent about 7 hours on it! I sure hope others do find it useful!

      All the Best,

      Chris

  4. Maria

Very interesting your tutorial. I learned to create/delete categories, and also to export content. It is incredible that we can schedule when to publish! I liked it, then I can write save and will be publish in a specific time, great. Your tutorial is complete, with it is easy to work in WordPress. Thank you for this useful tutorial, you explain everything point by point 🙂

    • Chris

      Hi Maria!

I am glad you found the tutorial helpful! It’s my goal to explain everything as detailed as possible!

      All the Best,

      Chris

  5. Susan

This is an excellent tutorial!  I am so new to WordPress and even though I have learned a lot, I also feel when it comes to it’s capabilities, I have only barely scratched the surface.

I’m so happy to learn that I can schedule a specific date for a post to be published.  And this does not require a plug in?

And on the subject of WordPress, and I hope this isn’t too off topic, but what are your thoughts on Gutenberg?  I’ve only been using WordPress about 3-4 months and still use the classic editor. Your screenshots appear to be from different editors (or browsers/OS?) – which got me thinking – again, if switching to Gutenberg is a good idea.

And how different is the editing process using the classic editor vs Gutenberg?

    • Chris

      Hi Susan!

I am glad you found this tutorial helpful!! Setting a post to be published in the future does not require any plugin! If you watch the video it will show you how to schedule the post from within the post itself!

I am honestly not familiar with Gutenberg so I won’t be able to help you on that haha!

      All the Best,

      Chris
